“You Are Not Forgotten—God Knows Your Name”

There’s a deep ache that comes with feeling invisible—like no one sees the effort, the tears, the silent prayers. Maybe you’ve wondered, “Does God even notice me?” Let this truth sink in today: You are not forgotten. God knows your name, your story, your every silent cry.

In Isaiah 49:16, God says, “See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.” That’s more than poetic—it’s permanent. Your name is etched into the very hands that formed the universe. You are not lost in the crowd. You are intimately known.

When Hagar ran away into the wilderness, broken and abandoned, she thought she was alone. But in her moment of despair, God appeared and gave her a new name for Him—“El Roi,” which means The God who sees me (Genesis 16:13). Even in the wilderness, God saw her. And He sees you too.

Every tear you’ve cried, He has counted. Every sleepless night, He’s been present. Psalm 56:8 says He collects every tear in a bottle. That’s not just beautiful—it’s personal. You are not just another soul on earth to Him. You are His.

If you’ve felt overlooked, know this: God sees what others miss. He hears what others ignore. And He’s not distant—He’s near. Sometimes the silence or delay is not rejection but redirection. He hasn’t forgotten you; He’s preparing you.

You matter to Him. So walk with confidence, not because of who sees you—but because He sees you. You’re not hidden. You’re held.
